TUSCANY
Day 2 - Monday,
explore the hilltop hamlet of Monteriggioni in the
morning and then drive into the famous Chianti region. We'll stop for
lunch in pretty Montalcino and afterwards visit the wonderful monastery of
Sant' Antimo. Day 3 - Tuesday,
visit the medieval alleyways of Siena in the early morning (before
crowds), later we'll tour the incredible S. Gimignano. Day 4 -
Wednesday, our scenery undergoes a dramatic change as we leave Siena
and then head to the wonderful island of Elba. We'll stay there for two
nights.
Day 6 – Friday, we travel back
to the mainland. Midday we'll explore the etruscan ruins of Populonia and
then on to our last 2 nights in the renaissance town of Lucca. Day 7 – Saturday,
early morning we beat the crowds to tour the spectacular "Campo dei
Miracoli" with the leaning tower of Pisa. Back to Lucca for our last
night. Day 8 – Sunday,
transfer to Florence airport for departure, or plan some extra time in
this city of art.

Day 1 - Sunday, arrive Florence airport, we'll pick you up there and
transfer you to your hotel just outside of beautiful Siena. This will be
your home for the first 3 nights. Relax away the afternoon and enjoy the
evening in town.
